Yale Lacrosse

ROLE: Creative Direction, Art Direction, Copywriting, Interiors, Design/Fabrication Oversight

———————-
When Joe Tsai, founder of Alibaba and former Yale Lacrosse athlete, approached Yale with a donation to build a new lacrosse facility, my team was tasked with developing the interior design, branding, and locker room presence.

We worked with Boston architecture firm, Perkins & Will, to develop a look that took Yale Lacrosse, and Yale Athletics, into a fresh, new direction.

Yale’s traditional brick and mortar, antiquated styling, wouldn’t work with the sleek, modern lines of the new space – so we built a system that incorporated the sleekness of the Yale brand, while maintaining nods to the rich history embedded in the centuries old look and feel.
